In the Criminal Law context we handle federal and state court cases in Florida and elsewhere. In the Federal District Court, Pensacola and Panama City divisions, we have tried to jury verdict cases involving various types of alleged conduct including conspiracy, money laundering, drug trafficking, mortgage fraud, mail and wire fraud, bank fraud, perjury, internet crimes, bank robbery and securities or investment fraud.
We have also assisted our clients by extensive preparation and presentation of mitigation evidence resulting in no charges being brought or in significantly reducing sentences involving charges involving internet sex offenses, bank fraud, drug distribution, military defense contracting fraud, thefts involving the government, insanity pleas, federal and/or national park violations and military base offenses including DUI.
In State courts of Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton counties we’ve been involved in well over a thousand cases and tried to jury verdict cases ranging from first degree capital murder where the death penalty is being sought, sexual battery, drug trafficking, violations of probation, domestic violence and racketeering to misdemeanor criminal charges including driving while under the influence and driving while license suspended.
In the Personal Injury and Wrongful Death context we’ve handled cases involving catastrophic injury resulting in death as well as cases involving minor injuries involving only soft tissue injuries. No Claim is too major or too minor for our firm. Representative cases and trials to verdict have involved car accidents, motorcycle accidents, truck accidents, wrongful death, slip and fall injuries, resort injuries and injuries involving high speed pursuit by law enforcement.
Jim Jenkins is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum where membership is limited to attorneys who have won million dollar verdicts and settlements in personal injury cases. Less than 1% of U.S. lawyers are members. All personal injury and wrongful death claims are handled on a contingency only basis which means there are no costs or expenses to the client unless there is a settlement or verdict in their case.
Jim also has achieved the highest possible peer review rating a lawyer can attain in both legal ability and ethical practice, an "AV" Preeminent rating. The AV Preeminent Rating is the pinnacle of professional excellence earned through a strenuous Peer Review Rating process collected from the opinions of other lawyers and judges that is managed and monitored by the world's most trusted legal resource, Martindale-Hubbell. Jim also has a perfect AVVO score, “10,” which is derived from Client and peer reviews.
We have represented people from all walks of life including military personnel, including pilots, flight students, officers and enlisted men and women serving our country from all four branches of our military.
